Our bus system in LA is quite good. It is my observation that the things wrong with public transit are the same things wrong with our city as a whole. Perhaps the nation.
The sidewalks are dirty.
Poverty asserts itself.
My question: What city department is responsible for cleaning sidewalks and bus shelters?
To my friends at BOSS (Bureau of Street Services), watch for an email from Metro Mary.
When one gets in a car and jumps straight on the freeway, it becomes easier to ignore homelessness and dirty sidewalks.
